Te Deum (Hymn of Praise)

We praise you, O God: we acclaim you as Lord. Everlasting Father, all the earth bows down before you. All the angels, the heavens and all the powers, the cherubim and seraphim cry out without ceasing: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. The glorious choir of the apostles praises you; the noble fellowship of the prophets, the white-robed army of martyrs. The holy Church throughout the world proclaims your praise: O Father of immense majesty, your true and only Son, worthy of all adoration, and the Holy Spirit, the Defender. You, O Christ, are the King of glory! You are the eternal Son of the Father! To set us free you humbly took our nature, not disdaining the Virgin's womb. You overcame the sting of death and opened the kingdom of heaven to all who believe. You are seated at God's right hand in glory. We believe that you will come again as our judge. Come then, Lord, and help your servants, whom you have redeemed by your precious Blood. Let them be numbered with your saints in everlasting glory. Amen.
