Before Work
Lord Jesus, you who worked in Nazareth,
bless the work I now begin.
May my hands serve what is good,
my mind seek the truth,
my speech be honest,
my heart not falter
in the face of fatigue and difficulty.
Accept, Lord, this effort of mine
in union with your sacrifice,
for the salvation of my soul
and the good of my brothers and sisters.
Amen.
