Night Prayer
Lord, at the end of this day,
I thank you for all you have given me:
life, work, bread, those I love.
Forgive me for the faults I have committed:
harsh words, impatience,
pride, lack of love.
Grant me a peaceful night,
that I may rest in your embrace
and rise tomorrow to serve you better.
Guardian angel, watch over me and all whom I love.
Our Lady, cover us with your mantle.
Amen.
