Liturgy of the Church
For the Sick
Lord Jesus, who during your life on earth
showed special love for the sick,
look with compassion upon all who are ill.
Ease their suffering,
strengthen their faith,
soothe their pain,
and, if it be your will,
restore them to health.
Comfort also those who care for them:
family, doctors, nurses.
May they never lack patience and hope.
To you, Lord, we entrust our fragility
and in you we place all our trust.
Amen.
